Charlie Bogue
Captain Charlie Bogue comes to Club Nautique with over 40 years of accumulated racing and cruising experience. Initiated to sailing as a foredeck crew on an International One Design sailing the Bay he went on to skipper his own Clipper, Islander 28 and J 24 in weekend and mid week beer can races with family and fellow crewmates. Catching the "cruising bug" along the way, he and his wife lived on board their Angleman Ketch for three years including a Central American cruise from Sausalito to Key West. Never far from the water, Charlie currently lives on the Napa River and enjoys trips on his Islander 28 and sharing his passion for sailing with others. He became a certified Coast Guard Master Captain in 2009 and joined the instructor team at Club Nautique in the Spring of 2010.
