Powerboating Resume

Skippering a bareboat charter requires experience and practical knowledge. The safety of your crew and the yacht depends upon your ability. For your protection as well as that of your crew, and for the safety of our yachts, it is important that our charterers be well qualified. We determine this by carefully reviewing the resume of the designated skipper and often through an interview. We're looking for several years of well-rounded experience and familiarity with boats of the approximate size and type you intend to charter. Practical knowledge and experience with navigation, and anchoring are essential.

Club Nautique reserves the right to require an on-the-water checkout or to place a skipper aboard at the charterer's expense if we feel the situation warrants it.

This resume will assist us in determining your qualifications to charter with us.
