Explore The Bay
We think there are lots of folks out there that would like to try sailing to some new Bay destinations but are just a little hesitant to go messing about in unfamiliar territory. We can help.
This one day cruise will introduce you to some of the lesser know destinations on the Bay. Experience restaurants, picnic sites, marinas, and special out of the way places to spend the night. Discover the ins and outs of places it has taken others years to discover. At the same time we'll acquaint you with the procedures for entering a new marina, negotiating a narrow channel, getting a bridge opening, and more. In fact, we'll attempt to answer any question you have about yachting on the Bay.
Because Club Nautique is the only charter company in Northern California with powerboats, we can use one of our beautiful powerboats to cover as much ground as possible, and introduce you to as many different areas as the day allows.
Here's a sample itinerary: Leave Alameda nonstop to Benecia or maybe Vallejo Marina. Spend a little time exploring the area, then head back via McNear's Beach, Point San Pablo, the Brothers, Paradise Cove, Richmond, or San Rafael. Wherever we have time to explore - or that you want to explore. The itinerary is not written in stone. We'll use your input to try and tailor a cruise to meet your needs. We think it's a great way to get to know the Bay (especially areas of little renown), and check out powerboating on the Bay.
This all day event is limited to six people per boat and reservations are required.
