Our custom, professionally designed programs combine Leadership, Communication, and Teamwork, to deliver highly effective employee development in a non-traditional setting in the most time-efficient format for busy professionals.

Choose from a range of different structured events for individuals or groups of up to 100 participants, or let us tailor an event to fit your organization's goals, schedule and budget.

Photo Treasure Hunt
One to Twenty Sailboats
One to One Hundred Participants

Strategizing, organizing and execution are the aims in this exercise. Teams are given a list of objectives on, or near, the water that can be photographed (lighthouse, buoy, Giant facility, flat-top, etc.). Each has a point value based on its ease of finding. The team strategizes how to get the most points then sails to the objects it selects. At the end of the day, the team with the most points wins. Everyone goes home with a CD of pictures to remember the day.

Participants spend a day on the water working together in new and collaborative ways. This is an ideal opportunity for small groups who work closely together to foster camaraderie and trust, and is a powerful and fun team building experience.

Bay cruises are the perfect opportunity for you to strengthen personal and business relationships while you enjoy the scenery of San Francisco Bay. Participants may choose to actively crew or simply relax as guests while our experienced captains do the work.

Team Building Regatta
Two to Twenty Sailboats
Ten to One Hundred Participants

Participants form teams that sail together while racing against colleagues in a structured regatta format. Regatta days foster group decision-making and improved teamwork in a fun and challenging environment.

Leadership Training
Three to Eight Boats

In partnership with Group Experiential Learning, the Official Supplier of Team Building and Leadership Development Programs to the US Sailing Team AlphaGraphics, we’re proud to offer GEL's BoatWorks program.

BoatWorks is an experiential leadership development program that is offered by Group Experiential Learning in port cities throughout the US and several international locations. In the Bay Area, Club Nautique is GEL’s principal partner, and our coaches have been trained extensively in the unique nuances of the BoatWorks experience.

BoatWorks leverages a non-racing, multi-sailboat format to get client teams gelling as they negotiate the wind, the currents, their collective anxieties and a special group challenge, all under the watchful eyes of a professional coaching staff. The BoatWorks challenge is similar to an obstacle course, but individual boats can’t go it alone. Success requires extensive collaboration between sub-teams via hand-held radios.

NO SAILING EXPERIENCE is required. Participants will learn only enough about sailing to navigate our Group Challenge Course. Amidst laughter, smiles and the exhilaration of wind and water, the group will hone team skills vital to success as well as uncover opportunities for improvement in decision-making, leadership and collaboration.

Sailboats from 26' to 49'
Motor yachts from 32' to 44'
Maximum six participants per boat
(Fewer recommended on boats under 36')
Of course, we place a licensed, professional skipper/facilitator onboard each boat to ensure that all participants have a safe, top-quality yachting experience.
