It's our honor to say "Thank You!"
The men and women of our military put their lives on the line for us and our country. This event was created with one sole purpose - to acknowledge and publicly thank those who fight to protect our way of life. The American Armed Forces Cup was dreamed up over a lunch outing In 2009 when one of our instructors offered to purchase lunch for some soldiers in uniform who were eating in the same restaurant. He purchased their meal as a simple act of gratitude. Back at the office the sentiment grew. What could we do to show them how much we appreciate them? The Armed Forces Cup was created.
Each year, we invite all five branches of the Military to send a team to participate in the competition. Club Nautique provides evenly matched boats and professional coaches to help with the racing. Teams come and practice and compete for the cup and bragging rights. It is a wonderful day filled with warmth, appreciation and gratitude.
