Leg I San Francisco to Santa Barbara
Coastal Passage Making 6 days
Cost - $1,795
Depart Alameda and sail out of the Golden Gate to the Pacific Ocean, before turning south and following the coastline past Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey and Morro Bay to Point Conception and east to the Channel Islands. We’ll fly the spinnaker if the weather is good, and find an anchorage by one of the islands when we get there.
Leg II Santa Barbara to San Diego

Coastal Passage Making - 5 days
Cost - $1,595
Depart Santa Barbara Harbor and cross the Santa Barbara Channel to the islands before heading southeast towards Catalina Island - a possible anchorage – from there we’ll follow the southern California coastline to San Diego. This area is renowned for the abundance of marine wildlife, spectacular sunrises and lingering sunsets.
Leg III San Diego to San Francisco
Oct 25 to Nov 4
Coastal Passage Making – 8 to 10 days
Cost – $995 for CPM students & $1,095 for grads
Depart San Diego and spending 8-10 days sailing the Channel Islands, Santa Barbara Channel and visiting many beautiful marinas. Possible destinations will include Catalina, San Juan Island, Santa Barbara, Marina Del Rey and many more. Then heading north and rounding Point Conception (the Cape Horn of the north). But it’s not over yet. Visit Monterey Bay, Half Moon Bay and back home to San Francisco.
