Racing - Corinthian Mid-Winters
ATTENTION RACERS
Join us for the Corinthian Mid-winter races on the middle weekends of January and February when we will compete on our Colgate 26s with spinnakers for flying!
Crew will get a first-hand opportunity to experience the full challenge of racing competitively on San Francisco Bay. Preceded in early January '09 by a one day race clinic which covers race rules and tactics, spinnaker rigging and set up, and on-the-water practice and drills with experienced and successful Colgate racer and CN instructors. This a great opportunity to gain real race experience and bring your sailing and tactical prowess to bear while receiving real-time competition coaching from a pro.
If you are interested in participating please forward a short sailing and racing resume by email - we are expecting to be competitive, and will want to ensure that we have competent sailors as crew. Crew can expect to learn a great deal during the program, and to benefit from the challenges that this mid-winter program provides.
The cost of this program is $600 and is for members only. The cost covers yacht charter, race clinic, instruction and tactician, and entry fee.
