A Day in the Life of a Bar Pilot

As a San Francisco Bar Pilot, David knows what it’s like to drive a ship on San Francisco bay. As the owner of a Catalina 34, he also knows what it’s like to be a sailor on the bay. He will endeavor to satisfy any curiosities sailors may have about the pilots and the ships we see out on The Bay. He will explain what it’s like to drive a ship and give tips on etiquette in the presence of these big monsters that share our sailing playground.
