Spring Tune-Up
Let’s get tuned up!
After a Fall and Winter of typically light winds, we’re all welcoming back San Francisco Bay’s famous blustery afternoon winds. These are the conditions that make our bay the sailing paradise that draws sailors from around the world.
We understand that many of our certified skippers haven’t been sailing much for several months, and few have taken the helm in 20 to 30 knot winds recently. To insure that you’re comfortable and safe as Summer approaches, we are offering special Review Classes for previously certified skippers only. Practice your dockings, reefing and crew overboard maneuvers under the expert guidance of one of our instructors, with crewmates of similar experience and goals… and do it all at specially discounted prices!
These full-day (0900-1700) Tune-Ups are just $150 for members (free for Ultimate Members) and only $195 for non-members. We’re making these as easy and inexpensive as possible to encourage everyone to sign up. Space is limited so first priority will be given to first time participants, those on your second will be asked to sign up on a standby basis.
Refresh your skills, rebuild your confidence, and make some new friends who share your passion for sailing (and will share the charter fees when you sail together later).
Prerequisite: Basic Cruising Certification or equivalent
