Colgate Cup – Rally Series!

Nothing beats the thrill of sailing on the Bay on a Colgate 26′! Crisp sails, steady winds, and the perfect balance of speed and control—this boat is made for adventure. Add a rally into the mix, and it’s a whole new level of excitement! Teamwork, strategy, and friendly competition make for an unforgettable day on the water. Who else loves the rush of trimming the sails just right and riding the perfect tack? Let’s rally and make some waves!
The Colgate Cup rally will consist of a number of timed passes through a clearly marked course that will challenge your team work, boat handling and buoy rounding skills. Starts will be staggered so that we’ll have no fatalities (I know, I know, but the Admiral says we need all our crew in shape to go back to work after the contest). Best time takes home the booty!
What: 5 Colgates will be available, 5 crew max, 3 crew minimum.
Time: Pick up keys at 0800, pre-cruise, return to the lair for a rules briefing at 0845 (no weapons allowed). Underway by 0930, 1st boat starts at 1000. Boats bedded by 1700, party and awards ceremony at the lair to follow.
(Admiral’s tip: Savvy Sailors will use the upcoming Performance Sailing classes on the Colgates to get a leg up on the competition!).
