In 2003, David joined club Nautique as an ultimate member, he took classes from power boating up through coastal passage making and many of the clinics. He shortly after went on for his coast guard license and began working as an instructor for Club Nautique. David has sailed and motored extensively around Florida, the Keys, San Francisco Bay and the Northern and Southern Coast of California.
Since 2005 David has taught all classes from Basic Keelboat through Coastal Passing Making along with all the power boating classes from Basic Power Boating through Coastal Power Cruising.
