(Blue Water Sailing Labor Day weekend)
The Monterey Cruise Out is our most anticipated Club Nautique flotilla trip! Each year the big boats of our fleet, captained by Coastal Passage Making grads embark on a memorable sailing adventure that takes each crew out under the Golden Gate bridge and along the California coast. With stops in Half Moon Bay, Monterey, and then back up the coast to Santa Cruz before returning home, you’ll get to experience arriving to some of the most popular Northern California coastal towns from the water. The itinerary offers an opportunity to connect with other members, explore popular destinations such as Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Pebble Beach. On the return, skippers and their crew will be tested in the rally (costumes strongly encouraged) from Monterey to Santa Cruz and then celebrate with a dock party and awards ceremony in Santa Cruz before sailing home.
This annual tradition is a favorite among Coastal Passage Making grads and a great opportunity for those not yet CPM certified to experience coastal cruising.
What can you expect? A fantastic weekend of great sailing, dock parties, exploring Monterey and the ever thrilling Monterey to Santa Cruz rally!

We currently have slip availability reserved for boats 38′ to 52′. Registration is $50/pp and covers a special Club Nautique burgee for each boat (additional burgees available for $30 each), dock party and awards ceremony in Santa Cruz. Slip fees will be paid by each boat separately.
