Corporate Programs & Skippered Charters

At Club Nautique, we get lots of requests to go sailing from non-members. Spending a day on the water aboard one of our beautiful yachts can be life-changing! Whether you’re just looking to take a load off while one of our USCG Certified instructors shows you The Bay or you have a team that deserves a special reward, we want to help you experience that.

SKIPPERED CHARTERS

Seeing the Bay from the water gives a whole different perspective. You want to enjoy that and we want to get you there!

We’d love to take you for a romantic cruise, or maybe a trip to Monterey. Perhaps you’re retiring and want to literally sail off into the sunset? Whatever you’re looking to do, we have 50 boats waiting to make your boating vision take place.

Here are a few FAQs which might help you decide if a skippered charter is right for you:

  • How many people can I take with me?
    • Our vessels are all pleasure yachts. As a result, we are restricted to 6 passengers aboard when we send a skipper with you, no matter the size of the boat you pick.
  • What is the shortest event I can have? What about the longest?
    • Our shortest skippered cruises are 3 hours. Skippered cruises can be arranged for days or weeks if you like, but significant advanced notice is needed.
  • How early should I plan my event? Can I call the day before?
    • Because we are a full-time charter Club and school and our instructors are booked early, we usually need at least 10 days’ notice to schedule your charter. Still, we’ll give it a shot for you no matter how close you are to your desired cruise.
  • Do I need to pay in advance?
    • You don’t need to pay in full upfront, but we will book your event and attempt to locate a skipper once a 50% deposit has been collected.

“As a professional in the training and professional development field, I think that Club Nautique’s team building and corporate programs are a healthy and productive choice for companies wanting to develop their staffs. They can tack and jibe their way to a sense of accomplishment.” – Corky Baggett – Program Manager – Mane

“We tried other programs, but this was the first Team Builder that lasted well beyond the day of fun on the water. Even months later my group still challenges one another to see who will be victorious on our next outing. The Club Nautique program is healthy competition at its finest with each participant having something to share and with much laughter.” – Bill Mayer, Director ASD Product Support

      • 19 – 36 people (4-6 boats): Schedule at least 2 months in advance
      • 37 – 60 people (7-10 boats): Schedule at least 3 months in advance
      • 61+ people (11+ boats): Schedule 6 months in advance
  • Do I need to pay in advance?
    • You don’t need to pay in full upfront, but we will book your event and attempt to locate skippers once a 50% deposit has been collected. Final payment is always due 1 month prior to your event.
